350 attendees to NEXTFLOW outreach activities during Madrid Science and Innovation week 2025

Madrid Science and Innovation Week 2025, held in November, allowed our team to reach out to 350 people of our local community and introduce them to main components of the project: turbulense, fluid control, and the use of AI in aerospace engineering.

Among the 3 workshops and activities we organised, one stood out: 300 people joined us to explore and participate in the fascinating world of Machine Learning in the Arganda del Rey municipality. After all, connecting with the general public and sparking the curiosity of so many people is an integral part of research.

Below is the complete list of this year’s activities.

Turbulence: The Scientific Art of Disorder
Qihong Lorena Li Hu, Martín Navarro González

How to Optimize Vehicles Using Helium Bubbles and Artificial Intelligence
Iacopo Tirelli, Stefano Discetti, Rodrigo Castellanos de Blas, Juan Alfaro Moreno

We Are All Trainers: Discover How Artificial Intelligence Learns
Iacopo Tirelli, Alicia Rodriguez Asensio, Luigi Marra, Stefano Discetti
