PhD Thesis: Data-driven enhancement of particle image velocimetry

Iacopo Tirelli successfully defended his PhD thesis, “Data-driven enhancement of particle image velocimetry”.

Iacopo contributed significantly to the projec: 5 papers (one currently under review), 10 conference contributions, 4 outreach activities for the general public, and a submitted patent. You can take a look through them in the results page of our website.

He also carried out a 3-month research stay at Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI), under the invitation of professor Miguel A. Mendez.
